Since 2009, the company has helped quench the collective thirst of hundreds of people attending Wellspring events, from public open house gatherings to the Powerful Change Luncheon which PepsiCo of Seattle sponsors each spring.
The company also contributes to the various donation drives hosted by Wellspring, including the Fresh Start drive and the Back to School campaign.
“As a global company, we believe it’s our corporate responsibility to give back to the communities where we live and work,” says PepsiCo’s Human Resource Representative Emily Rooney. “By partnering with Wellspring, we have a special opportunity to contribute to the work of a unique organization that’s helping people get back on their feet and maintain their dignity.”
Wellspring President/CEO Ruthann Howell, an avid Diet Pepsi drinker, says, “It’s so wonderful to have this partnership with our Rainier Valley neighbor and so heartening to see a successful corporation like Pepsi step forward so significantly in helping us solve our community’s challenges. We greatly value our relationship with Pepsi and look forward to working with them for years to come.”
