Stanford Alumni Roll Up Their Sleeves

Last month a group from the Stanford Alumni Association helped transform spaces in our building that are very important to the children we serve. This eager group of volunteers, including kids and adults, sorted summer clothes in the Baby Boutique and also built planter boxes and scoured our playground equipment so it’s clean and ready for warm-weather play.

Thank you, Stanford Alumni and families! We’re delighted to report that the preschoolers learned hands-on lessons about science and nature as they happily dug in the soil of the planter boxes and planted seedlings. Wellspring teachers were thrilled by your hard work. “We were delighted by how clean the playground was,” said Early Learning Center program supervisor Diane Brissenden.

If your group is interested in volunteering, please read more about how to get involved.

We depend on the generosity of our supporters who donate seasonally appropriate clothing, as well baby gear and equipment. Learn more about donating items here.
