During times of crisis and change, you need someone who is able to effectively listen, provide a greater sense of understanding and clarity, and help to gain a more genuine and effective way of being.  Using an empathetic understanding and sensitivity, together we will explore, both emotionally and intellectually, the deeper roots of your difficulties and open up new possibilities.

I believe that increasing self-understanding, learning tools to manage symptoms, and engaging in a therapeutic relationship is a process that promotes healing.

In our first sessions we will explore what has led you to seek therapy, identify your goals and aspirations, and develop a plan for working together. I will explain the process of therapy and my approach to the therapeutic relationship.

My training includes psychodynamic psychotherapy, child-directed play therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. With a focus on attachment theory and child development, including how people are impacted by their early experiences and first relationships, I work well with school-age children, adults, couples, and families.

Take the first step towards a new sense of health and connection. Call 206-524-9055 to set up an appointment.
