Advocacy
Our Policy Priorities
At Wellspring, we recognize that policy plays a critical role in our mission to prevent family and employee homelessness. We support legislative and executive policies that strengthen housing stability and family support programs.
2025 Legislative Priorities

Wellspring’s 2025 Legislative Priorities focus on advancing policies that promote housing stability, protect vital support services, and prevent homelessness before it begins. This year, we are advocating for the following key initiatives:
- Early ECEAP: Protecting full-day, year-round childcare for children from low-income families, ensuring access to critical early education and wraparound services.
- Housing Trust Fund: Supporting Washington’s primary source of funding for affordable housing, with a proposed $536 million investment to build and preserve safe, stable homes.
These priorities reflect our commitment to ensuring every family has a safe, stable place to call home. Through advocacy and collaboration, we work to drive policy changes that create lasting solutions for families across Washington.
