Welcome to the FAQ page for the transition of Wellspring’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to CuraLinc. We understand that you may have questions about this process, and we are committed to providing clear and timely updates to keep you informed.

Benefits Promotion

Do we need to reprint and redistribute benefit guides?
Access information (phone number and website) will point to CuraLinc. The core EAP benefits offered by Wellspring are also offered by CuraLinc, with several enhancements. For a preview of benefits, download this flyer.

When will we receive benefit promotion information?
CuraLinc has a robust member communication service that will be part of your EAP. Their team will share a full communication package and guidance with you when they begin to support your account on December 2.

Do we need to update contact information for EAP?
No. The current Wellspring EAP access points (phone number and web address) will route to CuraLinc to ensure continuity of access. There will be no interruptions to these access portals.

When can I start informing employees of the change?
Once you’ve been introduced to your CuraLinc account manager on December 2, you can work with them to coordinate a promotion schedule. Meanwhile, here is a preview of your benefits through CuraLinc.

What happens if employees see outdated promotional materials and contact Wellspring in 2025?
The phone number for the EAP is not changing, so employees who call the number listed on older promotional materials will still reach the appropriate support. Similarly, the website will redirect employees to the CuraLinc employee/member website, ensuring continued access to services.
Benefits

Can employees continue to see the same therapist after December 2?
If an employee has an existing authorization for sessions, it can be used through December 31, 2024. Some therapists currently in Wellspring’s network are already contracted with CuraLinc, while others are not. Wellspring and CuraLinc are collaborating to add as many of these therapists as possible to the CuraLinc network. If an employee wishes to continue seeing their therapist in 2025 and the therapist is not yet in the CuraLinc network, the employee can inform their therapist and encourage them to consider joining.

Will employees' EAP benefits change with CuraLinc?
The core benefits and eligibility will remain the same, with the addition of enhanced online resources.

Do employees need to complete their Will Kit process before 2025?
We are still confirming details with CLC about how the Will Kit process will transition. While it’s likely that once a referral is initiated with CLC, it can continue until completion, we currently do not have information about any potential time limits. Additional details will be shared as soon as they become available

Are the number of counseling sessions changing?
No. The number of counseling sessions will remain the same.

Will employees receive a new set of sessions when the change goes into effect?
No, employees will not receive a new set of sessions when the change takes effect unless an unrelated counseling issue has emerged . If an employee has an open Wellspring authorization, it will remain valid through December 31, 2024. Employees will become eligible for a new set of sessions for the same counseling issue in the new year.

How will TalkSpace services transition?
If an employee has an existing authorization for sessions, it can be used through December 31, 2024.

Will Employees continue to have access to Sukhi Wellness?
Information regarding the transition of Sukhi Wellness services is forthcoming. Updates will be provided as soon as they are available.

Human Resources

When will employees and managers receive new materials about CuraLinc?
New materials about CuraLinc will be shared by CuraLinc account managers after introductions have been made, on December 2.

When will we be introduced to our CuraLinc account manager?
Introductions are scheduled for December 2.

When can we start scheduling benefit orientations?
Scheduling benefit orientations will be coordinated with each organization’s new CuraLinc account manager once introductions have been made on December 2.

Will on-site services like benefit fairs, wellness fairs, and Critical Incident Responses still be available in person?
Yes, on-site services such as benefit fairs, wellness fairs, Critical Incident Responses, and trainings can still be staffed in person.

Does a mandatory referral need to be completed by the end of 2025?
Details about the transition of mandatory referrals will be provided soon. Please revisit this page for updates, as it is refreshed daily.

How will pre-scheduled on-site services be affected?
Anything that has been scheduled and confirmed with a signed Work Plan will be honored. Curalinc will evaluate trainings and projects that are under discussion as well.
Contract-related

What will happen to the renewal we just completed for 2025?
All current contracts with Wellspring, including recent renewals, are being assigned to CuraLinc and will remain valid. For companies that require consent for this assignment, your Wellspring account executive will reach out to obtain consent as outlined in the contract terms.

Will the current contract be honored for the full contract term?
Yes, the current contract will be honored for its full term. The only change is that the contract will be assigned to CuraLinc, but all terms will remain the same.

Will current contract rates change to CuraLinc rates after December 2?
No, there will be no rate changes. The current contract, including its rates, is being assigned to CuraLinc without modification.

Can we cancel our contract with Wellspring and sign up directly with CuraLinc?
No, that is not necessary, your Wellspring contract is being assigned to Curalinc.
Billing-related

What should I expect regarding invoices during the transition?
Wellspring invoices on a monthly basis for the current month. Here’s what to expect during the transition:
- November PEPM/Annual Fees: Final invoices for November will be issued by Wellspring in late November.
- Management Services/Fee Sessions in November: These will be invoiced by Wellspring in early December.
- Past Due Balances: Wellspring will also send statements for any past due balances.
If you have further questions, please reach out to your Wellspring account executive for clarification.

Which company should I pay starting in December?
Please pay the company that issued the invoice. If the invoice is from Wellspring, for services provided up to November 2024, payment should be made to Wellspring, even if the payment is processed after the transition date.

How will pre-paid balances for Quarterly or Annual plans be handled?
Wellspring and CuraLinc have coordinated to transfer any pre-paid balances. The credit for those payments will carry over to CuraLinc, and you will be invoiced by CuraLinc on the next billing cycle.
