Edmonds Housing and Supplementary Relief Program

Washington Kids in Transition and Wellspring Family Services are nonprofit organizations focused on helping students and families facing or fearing homelessness. The City of Edmonds selected these two organizations, in partnership, to facilitate management of the Edmonds Housing and Supplementary Relief Fund.

  • Rent payments
  • Mortgage payments
  • Utility bills
  • Medical bills
  • Groceries/gas (through gift cards)

All payments will be made directly to the creditor/vendor. Cash or written checks will not be made directly to applicants.

How does this work?

First, fill in the application. You’ll find the link below.

Once your eligibility is verified, we will give you a call to find out how we can help.

You’ll need to provide us with a copy of your lease, mortgage statement, utility bill, and/or medical bill for us to provide payment. If you want us to make a payment toward your rent or lease, you will need to ask your landlord to give you a Form W9. You can find that here.

Most landlords would prefer to send the W9 directly to us. They can email it to Edmonds_COVID@wellspringfs.org. Or, they can fax it to us at 1-866-290-0199.

We’ll figure out what we can pay on your behalf, and make the payment. We suggest that you follow up to make sure the payment was received.

What about my privacy?

We take your privacy seriously. For over 128 years, Wellspring Family Services has been helping families and individuals in crisis in our community. All of our team members adhere to a confidentiality policy that prohibits them from sharing private information outside of those who must know in order to serve your needs.

What if I have problems with the application?

That’s fine … just give us a call! You can reach a Wellspring team member at 206-902-4250.
