Family Essentials Drive Runs March 14 through April 15

|

An easy way you can make a tangible difference for children facing homelessness

The essential personal-care items we use to start each day fresh and clean should be available to everyone. Sadly, however, necessities such as soap, toothpaste, and clean socks are not covered by SNAP benefits and families facing homelessness often struggle to buy them.

Sometimes even seemingly minor expenses can tip a family into homelessness. But, together, we can help prevent this reality, one family at time. Each spring, Wellspring invites the community to donate new, critically needed clothing essentials and basic hygiene items so parents can focus their financial resources on food, rent, and utilities.

Will you join us and donate daily essentials for children and families in need?

The annual Family Essentials Drive helps ensure the Wellspring Family Store is well stocked with new hygiene supplies and other daily necessities available at no cost. According to Family Store Program Manager, Karly Lee, “The Essentials Drive supports our goal to serve families with dignity by supplying them with the new, day-to-day personal-care items we all need to greet the world with confidence. Because of your generous support, parents have one less worry knowing their child starts the day well prepared and ready for success. We couldn’t be here for families without our incredible donors.”
