GIVING TOGETHER GIFT DRIVE 2024
Your Gift Can Bring Hope To A Child
This holiday season, over 1,250 children in our community are facing the reality of homelessness or are at risk of losing the comfort of a stable home.
You can help bring joy and hope into their lives.
By supporting the Wellspring Giving Together campaign, you’re not just giving a gift — you’re helping families experience a brighter holiday and moving them one step closer to lasting housing stability. Your generosity can create moments of magic and spark lasting change in the lives of those who need it most.
You can:
- Host a gift drive
- Decorate a Giving Together Tree
- Give Together and share our wish lists
Please ensure your new and unwrapped gift items are delivered to Wellspring by December 6th, 2024.
Host A Gift Drive In Three Easy Steps!
- Register your gift drive with Wellspring, so we know to expect your gifts!
- Please request collection boxes as early as possible, as our supplies are limited.
- Begin your gift drive! Print your flyers, share donation links, and tell your community how they can join you in Giving Together and bringing joy to a child this holiday season.
Display Giving Tree Tags
Decorate your holiday tree with Wellspring Giving Tree Tags that display a QR code to gift wish lists. These festive tags allow folks to shop online and have toys delivered directly to Wellspring – no need to drop off.
Tags can be mailed to hosts or picked up from Wellspring.
Shop the Childrens' Wish Lists and Share the Cheer!
Shop the wish list and share the cheer with friends, family, and community by encouraging others to Give Together! Brighten the season for children and teens facing homelessness by sharing their wish lists and promoting the Giving Together Campaign and Gift Drive.

Last year, your gifts brought joy to many families. Below are a few of them who reached out to Wellspring for holiday toys:
- A mother with three children, rebuilding their life after fleeing domestic violence.
- A family with three children facing financial difficulties after their father’s work-related injury.
- A mother with four children who is staying in transitional housing. Her youngest son, 1 year old, has a heart condition and has been in and out of the hospital.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I contact Wellspring?
Wellspring team email: donate@wellspringfs.org
Wellspring team phone: (206) 787-8007
-
What if I drop gifts off after December 6th?
Any gift items that arrive too late to be packed into orders for the holidays will be distributed through our successful Family Store program which provides families facing homelessness with children’s essentials year-round.
-
Why does Wellspring not want gifts wrapped?
Wellspring prefers unwrapped gifts because we want parents and guardians to be able to clearly see what they have received to gift their child. If parents and guardians would like to wrap their gift upon pick up, Wellspring has wrapping paper available for them at that time.
-
Can I 'adopt a family?'
Wellspring does not have an ‘adopt a family’ program, to ensure that families receive gifts in the order they were requested. For folks looking to have a very personal impact, we welcome you to consider adopting our Early Learning Center, providing gifts for all students. Contact us to learn more.
-
How do families facing homelessness request gifts?
Our Family Store program manager reaches out to our network of partner organizations, case managers, and individual families who have expressed interest in the Family Store program or received essentials for their children. Families then submit requests for gifts for their children. This year, we opened the request form on October 1st and by October 7th had received over 1,300 gift requests.
