Better outcomes for people, families and communities
Preventing homelessness is the best way to avoid its devastating effects on families. It’s also less costly—both economically and socially. Our unique approach to ending family homelessness, made possible by our donors and social enterprise clients, has a profound impact on individuals, families and communities across the Pacific Northwest. Below are some highlights of what we’ve accomplished so far, together.
Housing Services
Families experiencing housing instability continued to receive critical support through the safety nets you helped create.
- Expanded services to veterans – Launched a new program dedicated to supporting veterans and their families facing housing instability.
- Expanded resident care services – Laid the groundwork for helping more people in our community avoid eviction and achieve lasting stability.

Four consecutive years and counting, 100% of families in our Rapid Rehousing program remain strong and successfully housed.
Family Store
The Family Store remained a vital resource for families facing financial hardship, providing free essentials that helped them stretch their budgets and prioritize critical expenses to maintain housing. For families with infants, access to diapers, wipes, and formula can save an estimated $220 per month—funds that can be redirected toward rent, utilities, or other necessities.

The Giving Together Gift Drive saw an overwhelming response, bringing relief and joy to families during the holiday season when financial pressures can feel especially heavy. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of donors, community partners, volunteers, and staff, whose kindness made a tangible difference for so many families.

Family Resource Fairs
Nearly 500 individuals attended our 2025 fairs, where children received bicycles, skateboards, backpacks, school supplies, diapers, hygiene items, and other basic needs.
Volunteers
Volunteers played a vital role in advancing Wellspring’s mission, contributing thousands of hours to support families facing housing instability. Through group sessions, holiday efforts, and year-round service, their dedication provided essential resources and helped build a stronger, more connected community.

For kids who experience homelessness, the impact is lifelong. They’re more likely to suffer from depression, to attempt suicide, to misuse or abuse substances, and to become pregnant as teenagers. And they’re 10 times as likely to become homeless again as adults, which means their own children may also experience the trauma of insecure housing.
So helping just one family find lasting stability has a profound impact that can be felt at home, at school, at work and across communities—not just now, but for generations to come.
