Strengthening Wellspring’s Mission: A Strategic Transition of EAP

|

Wellspring Family Services has made the strategic decision to transition its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to CuraLinc Healthcare, effective December 2, 2024, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to preventing and ending family homelessness.

For more than a century, Wellspring has evolved to meet the community’s changing needs. The decision to transition the EAP reflects this legacy of adaptability, enabling the organization to strengthen its core mission. Programs like Housing Services, the Early Learning Center, the free Family Store, and Employee Stability Program remain at the heart of Wellspring’s work and will continue providing vital support that helps families achieve lasting stability.

This transition was guided by Wellspring’s commitment to ensuring that the EAP’s next chapter would uphold the same values of care and excellence that defined it for decades. “CuraLinc Healthcare was chosen to take over the EAP program because of its alignment with Wellspring’s values and its reputation for delivering high-quality, compassionate support,” said Peter Schultz, interim CEO of Wellspring. The decision guarantees continuity of care and enhanced resources for EAP client organizations and their employees.

“For decades, the Employee Assistance Program has been a vital part of Wellspring’s work, built on a foundation of exceptional care and expertise embodied by its staff and leadership over the years,” added Schultz. “The program’s transition to an organization like CuraLinc not only honors the EAP’s remarkable legacy but also positions Wellspring to focus on creating an even greater impact for families in crisis.”

This decision underscores Wellspring’s dedication to its mission and ability to adapt to meet the community’s needs. With a renewed focus on its family services programs and a stable financial foundation, Wellspring is well-positioned to grow its impact and support families in crisis for years to come.
