Cobie Sparks-Howard serves as Wellspring’s Director of Housing Services, bringing a grounded, equity-centered approach to supporting families experiencing housing instability. With over 15 years of experience in housing, homelessness services, and trauma-informed program design, he leads with a blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to community well-being.
Cobie specializes in building responsive, person-centered housing programs that meet the evolving needs of families. He oversees Wellspring’s full housing services portfolio. He works closely with internal teams and external partners to strengthen systems, advance housing equity, and improve long-term outcomes for the families we serve.
He is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, his ability to cultivate healthy and inclusive team cultures, and his emphasis on transparency and accountability. His strengths encompass program development, contract and budget management, staff coaching, and building cross-sector partnerships, all rooted in the belief that stable housing is foundational to overall family stability. Cobie brings a unique lens that integrates psycho-social practices with operational excellence, ensuring that Wellspring’s services reflect both compassion and high-quality standards.
Outside of work, Cobie enjoys cooking, video gaming, and spending quality time with his kiddos. He finds balance through creativity, family, and community connection.
