Julie Morris
Interim Executive Director
Julie Morris serves as Wellspring’s Interim Executive Director, bringing a strategic, equity-centered approach to leadership transitions. With more than two decades of cross-sector experience, she specializes in guiding organizations through change, including leadership transitions, strategic growth, and operational transformation. Julie has held executive roles in both nonprofit and private sector settings and applies a collaborative, process-oriented approach to developing robust solutions.
She is known for her ability to quickly build trust, foster inclusive organizational cultures, and implement systems that enhance transparency and efficiency. Her leadership strengths span fundraising, operational design, and strategic planning—all grounded in a deep commitment to racial equity. She leads with a focus on centering the needs of individuals, families, and communities served.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, spending time outdoors, and navigating life with a teenage son. Her favorite place to recharge is visiting family in Florida.
