Laura McMillan
EVP, Employee Services Division
Laura McMillan joined Wellspring in February 2022 as EVP of Employee Assistance Program. Laura brings over 25 years of leadership experience in operations, strategic planning, board governance, network management and process improvement.
During the first decades of her career, Laura held numerous leadership positions at the former Group Health Cooperative, culminating her service as the VP of Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO. Following this she spent five years as the COO for NetHope, an international NGO, and most recently served on the leadership team of Optum PNW as the Chief of Staff to the President.
Laura has a special interests in non-profit board governance, child welfare and lean management. She has served on the boards of several local non-profit organizations and was a coach in The Ohio State University Master’s in Business Operational Excellence program. She holds a B.S. in healthcare management from Whitworth University and an MBA from the University of Washington.
