Joe Nguyen
Vice President of Strategy
As Vice President of Strategy, Joe Nguyen helps advance effective planning, business modeling, contracts, and collaborative relationships critical to fulfilling Wellspring’s mission. He joined Wellspring in April 2022 after nearly a decade at Microsoft with a background in strategy, finance, and analytics.
Joe’s passion for alleviating homelessness is driven by his experience with housing instability while growing up and was inspired by a former professor and long-time homelessness advocate, Bill Hobson, while at Seattle University. Joe is an active community leader, and proudly served on Wellspring’s board of directors and chaired the organization’s Associate Board. He currently serves as the State Senator from the 34th legislative district.
